Babies, parks and games

Hello mathematicians. I know it’s been a couple of weeks since I’ve written anything, so I wanted to say hello and talk about how things are going.

Paula is now 7 weeks out from her due date, and we are really getting excited to be welcoming our new son into our family. Even though it is still 7 weeks away, we really are at the point where we feel like the baby will come any day. I know this will make it seem like forever before the baby comes, but we can’t help ourselves. So far, everything is looking great. There have been no complications or issues. Hopefully things will continue to go this well.

We’ll be sure to let you know as anything comes up and finally when the baby is born. If you have any particular questions, please let me know.

Tuesday’s at the Park

Last Tuesday, Arthur and I weren’t able to get the park since it was raining. However, we were back at the park again today. I could tell he was excited to get out and expend a lot of energy.

At the park, we got to play on the equipment, run around on a football field and then we played on a splash pad. I have the video below, but make sure to subscribe to the YouTube channel so that you know when new ones are coming out.

Borderlands 3

I have frequently referenced different video games I’ve played, and even found ways to incorporate them into mathematical applications. Last Friday, Borderlands 3 was released, so I am currently playing through that. I will likely post an application incorporating the game in the future, but I also wanted to let you know that I’ve been streaming the game play on Twitch.

If you have played any of the games in the series and would like to know about this one, please join me. If you are playing, I’d also love to group up and run anything you’re interested in. Feel free to friend me at Dr.Alb on Epic and join in anytime you like.

Even though everything is math, I have had a lot of things going on that are on the periphery of mathematics. As such, I know I’ve slowed down on my posting schedule, but I will continue to post things regularly. Thanks for joining me, and, please, let me know if there are any particular topics you wold like me to talk about.

We'd love to hear your thoughts!
